What did the Navy know, and when did they know it?

On December 6, Navy Secretary Carlos del Toro said Red Hill fuel tank operations were suspended on November 27. Back on December 1, the Navy disclosed said it had shut down its Red Hill water shaft on November 28. Yet on November 29, the Navy still said its water was safe, amid public outcry.

This newly revealed order of events raises some pressing questions: What did the Navy know, and when did they know it?

I compiled this timeline to start making sense of the timing of the Navy’s disclosures. (Click here for the version on Twitter.)
